What we aim for

ADUDesk targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That target shapes how the site is built rather than being checked at the end.

What is in place today

• Semantic landmarks and a skip-to-content link on every page.
• Keyboard access to every control, with a visible focus ring that meets contrast requirements in both themes.
• Text and interface colours checked against AA contrast ratios on each surface, including the tinted section backgrounds and the footer.
• Form labels, hints, and error messages that are programmatically associated with their fields, and errors that do not shift the layout when they appear.
• State communicated by more than colour alone — the active navigation item, for example, carries an underline and an ARIA current value.
• A light and dark theme that respects your system preference and remembers a manual choice.
• Animation limited to small transitions, all of which are disabled when your system requests reduced motion.
• Meaningful alternative text on images that carry information.

Known gaps

Placeholder illustrations currently stand in for photography, and their alternative text describes the illustration rather than a real property. This page will be updated when real imagery is in place.
